Library and information board

Parents should check the parent notice board each week to keep up-to-date with centre information. The centre's bookshelves contain lots of interesting books, notices, videos and pamphlets. These are available for parents to borrow at any time.

Governing council

The centre's governing council is made up of a committee of parents who meet twice a term to discuss issues and the management of the kindy. To join the committee, contact the centre director.

Fundraisers

The centre holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Fundraising is essential to the general well-being and development of our centre and forms a major part of our budget requirement. Your support with these would be greatly appreciated. If you have any ideas for fundraising events, please let us know.

Parent support

Parent support is essential in order for the centre to run smoothly. Your support in any way will always be welcome and appreciated. Please speak to the director if you are able to help.

Sharing your skills and abilities

Children love to have different adults interact with them and be involved in their time at kindy. We encourage parent involvement and love for parents to share their skills and interests with the children. This gives children the opportunity to learn about cooking, gardening, music and other hobbies. If you are interested in getting involved please speak to the centre director.

Book borrowing

Books are available for children to take home for the night. The kindy supplies library bags for all children. Please speak to staff for details on borrowing books.
